Arcadia farm is more than just a venue, Arcadia Farm is an experience.
Our goal and my desire is to provide couples with more than just a wedding day. We provide a relaxed, unhurried wedding experience. Couples are invited to enjoy the romantic beauty of Arcadia the day before, relax the day of their commitment, and return the following day to gather flowers, gifts, and decorations.
Historic Shelby Manor at Arcadia Farm, offers country elegance!
The 8,000 square foot, four story, six bedroom historic antebellum mansion, built in 1836 by the son of Isaac Shelby, the first and the fifth governor of Kentucky, is nestled on 625 acres of bluegrass countryside. Arcadia was once part of a 25,000 land grant that was issued to Governor Shelby by President George Washington prior to Kentucky becoming a state. Surrounded by pristine Kentucky farmland, a lush green lawn, large shade trees, and beautiful flowers, the historic mansion is tucked behind private gates to ensure a tranquil peace with an intimate quality.
Arcadia Farm and the Historic Shelby Manor is situated in the heart of central Kentucky only an hour’s drive from Lexington between the historic communities of Stanford and Danville.

We can provide small intimate weddings or large events for up to 175 guests with overnight accommodations, something no other wedding venue in the area can provide. We offer a one night or two night packages where families or friends can spend the night at the beautiful historic mansion, host a spectacular event, create memories, and make dreams become reality.
Our pricing packages are flexible based on what you wish to add or not add to your experience. Our experienced on site staff will assist you in every step of the planning process to give you peace of mind that your experience at Arcadia Farm is 5 star quality.
